Gold Fares are available for both Gold and Platinum members and represent the best publicly available Internet fares. Gold membership is free and it is easy to become a Gold member as part of your ticket-buying process. When you are ready to buy a Gold fare ticket, we will connect you to the website of the appropriate travel partner (an airline or online travel site). You will purchase your ticket directly from the travel partner. We charge you no service fee for our referral, so you are getting the same fare that you would find by going directly to our travel partner's site.
cFares is set up like Costco whereby members join to get wholesale and discounted pricing on many routes as well as the cheapest internet pricing available on all other routes. Many of these fares are simply not available anywhere else on the web. Platinum memberships cost $50 annually. Platinum members may buy as many tickets as they wish for the duration of their membership. In most cases membership pays for itself in 1 or 2 flights. The cFares Platinum Membership is like your frequent flier program – it is an individual benefit that gives valuable benefits and advantages to you as an individual.
No, nobody can guarantee that they will always have the cheapest fares. However, we have proven that because of our access to wholesale fares and our proprietary discounting technology, we will consistently beat fares from all other sites over 90-95% of the time.
Platinum memberships are for personal use only. Platinum members may purchase an unlimited number of Platinum tickets for themselves.
Some Platinum tickets come with a rebate for the Platinum member buying the ticket. To be eligible for the rebate, the Platinum member must be listed as a passenger on that ticket. No rebates will be paid if the member is not a passenger.
Platinum members may also purchase tickets for their family members. However, in such cases only the Platinum member is eligible for receiving any rebate associated with his or her individual ticket. In particular, family members who are not Platinum members do not qualify for any rebate.
cFares is a unique airfare search site which allows you to comparison shop from a large number of airline and travel agency booking sites for low cost travel. cFares is NOT really the booking site. Think of cFares as a “Google for airfares”. cFares delivers a 360 degree view of the best airfares in the market, including deals you won't find anywhere else, by searching major online travel agency sites airline sites, and finding special negotiated deals with airline ticket wholesalers.
Although the airfares presented by cFares have been obtained by cFares from sources believed to be reliable, they are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. cFares assumes no responsibility for the consequences of any errors or omissions at the source booking websites. cFares does not make any recommendation regarding any of the travel inventory issued by any of the companies identified on cFares nor the advisability of buying or selling such inventory generally.
To purchase a desired ticket, you can click on the "Buy" button on the web search results page. This will take you directly to the booking website offering your selected itinerary where you can complete your purchase. Any questions or problems at the airfare booking web site should be discussed directly with the customer service contact at the booking web site.
No, we do not allow for Platinum members to claim rebates for anyone other than themselves. If you are a travel agent or want to book others, cFares has an affiliate program where we offer an incentive to signup Platinum members. Please contact thru support (support@cfares.com) if you would like information on our affiliate program.
Platinum fares are fares displayed in the Platinum section of the cFares search results page. These fares are generally not available anywhere else on the web. Anyone can view these fares, however you must be a cFares Platinum member in order to buy a Platinum fare ticket. In most cases your membership should pay for itself in 1 or 2 flights. It is easy to become a Platinum member as part of your ticket-buying process.
There are two types of Platinum fares on the cFares site. Some Platinum tickets are sold directly on the cFares website. You simply pay the amount shown on the search results and subsequent booking pages.
Other Platinum fares have a rebate associated with them that is displayed next to the itinerary and the fare. As part of the buying process for such fares, we provide you with an online rebate coupon. We then connect you to the airfare booking website (airline or online travel agency site) that we obtained the fare from. You will purchase your ticket directly from that airfare booking website, then return to the cFares Platinum rebate coupon page to apply for your rebate.
For example, you may find a roundtrip ticket from San Francisco to Singapore for $1000 on cFares, with a $50 rebate associated with it. When you select that ticket, you are routed to the airfare booking site (airline or online travel agency site) where we found the $1000 fare. You book the ticket at the booking site for $1000. After purchasing the ticket the booking site, you will return to the cFares Platinum rebate coupon page to apply for the $50 rebate. Once tickets are issued your rebate will be processed. This can take up to 10 business days to process and up to two billing cycles to reflect in your statement.
Remember, Platinum memberships are for personal use only.
In particular, family members who are not Platinum members do not qualify for any rebate.
cFares will refund a Platinum membership fee if the request is made in writing to support@cFares.com within the first 30 days of membership. (No Platinum membership fee refund will be issued once the member has purchased a Platinum fare.)
